W1: Airway Workshop

The ASM Airway Workshop is a 90-minute, hands-on session designed to provide focused practical training in advanced airway management. The workshop will consist of four main stations, with an optional bonus station if time permits. Participants will rotate through each station to practice critical airway skills using high-fidelity models and simulators, under the guidance of expert instructors.
W2: Kids Save Lives Workshop

Participant Requirements:
Kids Save Lives is a project supported by the WFSA (World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists) and endorsed by the WHO (World Health Organisation). It is a global initiative to educate schoolchildren on BLS (Basic Life Support) skills so as to improve resuscitation training in the general public and improve bystander CPR (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation) rates.
Format:
Didactic introductory lectures on basic life support skills with hands-on CPR practice on mannikins
Language:
Course will be conducted in both English and Cantonese. Participants who can understand both languages will be able to benefit most.
W3: CPEX Workshop

Looking to sharpen your ultrasound skills at the bedside? This hands-on workshop is designed for anaesthetists, intensivists, and trainees who want to build confidence in practical POCUS applications.
We’ll kick off with the RUSH Protocol (Rapid Ultrasound in Shock and Hypotension), a structured approach to assessing the shocked patient, followed by focused modules on gastric ultrasound for aspiration risk and the FAST exam for detecting free fluid in trauma.
With plenty of scanning time, tips from experienced faculty, and real-world clinical pearls, this session will help you bring POCUS into your daily practice with confidence.

Aromatherapy for Psychological and Mental Wellness
This workshop provides an introduction to the use of essential oils as a complementary modality for supporting mental health.
Each participant will create their own inhaler by learning about and selecting from 10 essential oils. Throughout the workshop, you will experience changes in emotions and develop greater self-awareness and self-connection.
The session emphasizes the neuropsychological mechanisms of olfaction, the therapeutic properties of essential oils, and their potential role in stress management, mood regulation, and cognitive support.
