Prof Kelvin To

Prof To is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Microbiology, the University of Hong Kong. His research interest is in emerging infectious diseases of local importance. For the 2009 influenza H1N1 pandemic, Prof To’s team have strategically analysed the viral genome to identify potential virulence factors, developed in-vitro models to determine cellular tropism, and performed clinical studies to determine the kinetics of viral shedding and immunological responses.
